An anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers of Atlanta helped Coweta County investigator identify Shaun Bapp from surveillance video FOX 5 News aired from a Chamblee Walmart.

He was allegedly shopping with a stolen credit card taken in a car break-in Coweta County.  Investigators said they learned that the 22-year-old Bapp is from South Fulton and he is a fugitive wanted for more than 40 car breaks in Coweta County alone.

In an investigative report shown to FOX 5 News, police said in a picture from his Facebook shows Shaun Bapp is apparently seen smelling a big wad of cash.  They said that picture was taken on the same morning as one of the series of car break-ins he was accused in.

What is especially troubling to law enforcement is the number of firearms Bapp may have stolen from unlocked cars during his south metro crime spree.

“And those are still floating around out there,” said Investigator Brandon Thrower of the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.  “And we don’t want these stolen firearms out on the streets.”

This is an Atlanta Crime Stoppers case.  If you have information that can help investigators locate Shaun Bapp, you can leave an anonymous tip at the Atlanta Crime Stoppers tip line.  That number is 404-577-Tips
