Police search for missing Gainesville woman

GAINESVILLE, Ga. - Police in Gainesville were actively searching for a missing 23-year-old woman Thursday afternoon.

Gainesville Police were out at Lanier Point Park searching for Lizeth Ruby Ruiz. K9 units were brought in to help in the search.

Police said Ruiz was reported missing Wednesday night in the area.

Anyone who believes they have seen Ruiz is asked to call 911.
