Police: Remains Found on Side of Interstate

ATLANTA - Human remains were discovered on Atlanta's Downtown Connector Monday morning. 

Atlanta police told FOX 5 that a skull and other remains were found near the interstate by a tree service crew. 

"I saw a human skull," said worker Angelo Sanchez. "I noticed it was real because of the teeth."

The workers were hired by the Georgia Department of Transportation to clear overgrown trees and that's when Sanchez made the gruesome discovery. 

Detectives remain on scene investigating.
