Police needs public help with a deadly hit and run
ATLANTA (FOX 5 News) - The Atlanta Police Department is looking for anyone who has information about a deadly hit and run that happened early Saturday morning.
Around 2:40 a.m., officers responded to a pedestrian accident on Empire Boulevard and found a man dead at the scene.
Police said the victim was standing in the street waving a flashlight when the vehicle hit him and continued driving.
Police said the car is a 2001 to 2004 gray Hyundai Santa Fe with front-end damage.
Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call Crime Stoppers. Tipsters may be eligible to receive up to $2,000 cash as a reward.
