Police: Mother, abducted 4-year-old son found safe

FOREST PARK, Ga. - Forest Park Police said they have found a mother and her 4-year-old son in a Clayton County motel.

Police said Serena Rios left with Andres Perez Wednesday night after child abuse claims were filed against her regarding her other three children, all under the age of 5.

They were found safe Thursday afternoon at the Budget Inn located at 6880 Tara Blvd.

The 4-year-old was placed in the care of the Department of Family and Children Services.

Rios was taken into police custody.
