Police: Man struck, killed while 'sitting' on I-85 NB
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A fatal pedestrian accident caused major delays on Interstate 85 northbound in DeKalb County early Friday morning.
According to police, a man was struck and killed while "sitting" on the interstate near the North Druid Hills exit around 4:30 a.m.
Authorities told FOX 5 the pedestrian was struck by two vehicles. Three cars pulled over and called the police.
All northbound lanes of I-85 shut down from North Druid Hills Road to the Clairmont Road exit as authorities remained on scene investigating. The investigation caused major delays for several hours.
All lanes of traffic have since reopened.
