Police: Man robs woman near Ponce City Market

ATLANTA (FOX 5 News) - Police are looking for a man who robbed a woman around lunchtime Monday near Ponce City Market.

Atlanta Police said the crime happened at the corner of Morgan Street and Glen Iris Drive. Thief stole her phone after making her unlock it. And according to a close relative of the victim, money was taken from the woman's checking account, possibly through a cash-sending app on her phone.

Detectives said no surveillance cameras caught the crime and the thief is still on the run.
