Police: Man pepper sprays clerk, steals high-end sunglasses
JACKSON COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities are searching for a man accused of attacking a store clerk with pepper spray in Jackson County before stealing high-end items.
On Monday, around 3:30 p.m., a man walked into the Sunglass Hut at Tanger Outlets in Commerce and pepper-sprayed the clerk, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. Investigators said the suspect then stole roughly 16 pairs of high-end sunglasses before taking off.
The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-40s, weighing about 275-300 pounds. He has a cross tattoo under his right eye and a clock tattoo on the left side of his neck.
