Police: man left infant inside car

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. - A father in Bartow County was charged after deputies said he left his infant daughter in the car.

Investigators said Christopher Hiatt left the baby in the car Saturday night and went inside the Cartersville Walmart.

Bartow County deputies discovered the infant in the unlocked car, removed her, and called EMS for an evaluation.

Hiatt reportedly told authorities he forgot his daughter was in the car.

He was arrested.

Little Addison was given to her mother.
