Police: Man in critical condition after overnight shooting in northwest Atlanta

ATLANTA - A man is in critical condition after a shooting at a NW Atlanta Apartment complex.  Atlanta Police detectives say the shooting happened at 1155 Joseph E. Boone Blvd.  

Officers say they got the shots fired call overnight. When they arrived, they found a 23-year-old man shot. He was rushed to Grady Hospital where he's receiving treatment.  

Police say the man knows his shooter. They're working with a witness to get more information.  

"We aren't exactly sure the circumstances that led up to it, we are still trying to speak to witnesses and get the whole story," said Lt. Andrea Webster, APD Homicide Commander,  "But at this time we are following up on everything that we can."
