Police: Man found shot to death behind DeKalb County motel

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - DeKalb County homicide investigators are interviewing guests at a motel after a deadly shooting early Wednesday morning. 

According to police, someone heard several gunshots at the gulf American Inn on Flat Shoals Road right before 1 a.m. and called for help. Responding officers found a man bleeding on the ground at the back of the motel.

Police said the victim is in his late thirties, and he was shot multiple times.

Investigators also said the victim was a guest staying at the motel. They did not find any signs of a fight or struggle in his room.

Police are now looking into what led to the violence, and who is to blame for the man's death.
