Police: Man found shot in southwest Atlanta

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting in southwest Atlanta Monday night.

It happened along Joseph E. Lowery Blvd. SW near Washington Place SW around 9 p.m. Atlanta Police said officers arrived to find a man shot several times. He was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

Investigators didn’t immediately have a suspect in the shooting.

The name of the shooting victim has not been released.

The circumstances which led to the shooting were under investigation as of late Monday evening.
