Police: Man beaten, robbed, and kidnapped by 4-5 men
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Gwinnett County Police released surveillance photos of the men who they said kidnapped, beat, and robbed a man.
Investigators said they attacked the man outside the Oakwood Vista Apartments on Coleville Circle and then kidnapped him. The robbers even forced the man to give up the PIN to his ATM card.
Police said it is imperative they identify the two individuals who investigators believe are responsible. Police said the two were among at least 4 to 5 men who beat, robbed and kidnapped a 25-year-old man last month.
The victim had just come home from a nightclub, parked his car in the parking lot of the Oakwood Vista Apartments in unincorporated Tucker when, according to the incident report, he was about to go inside when he was hit with something.
Police said the multiple attackers then forced the victim into the back seat of his own car and, according to the report, they covered his face and demanded his things. Even after giving them his wallet and cellphone, he says they continued to beat him.
The men then drove him to a nearby convenience store where police said the two men went inside and withdrew less than $200 from the ATM using the victims debit card. They then drove the victim back to the apartment complex and left.
