Police have arrested a man they believe murdered a 24-year-old Georgia State University student at a gas station in DeKalb County.

Officials say the DeKalb County Sheriff's Fugitive Unit apprehended 22-year-old Roden Meadows on Tuesday after surveillance video showed him with the victim, Jason Williams, at the Citgo gas station where the shooting took place on May 15.

Williams reportedly went inside the gas station with Meadows and returned to his car. It was there that police say Williams was shot.

Williams had been reported missing by his family earlier last week. On Friday, police identified the body at the gas station as the GSU student.

Meadows has been charged with murder.
