Police: Man arrested after running woman, child off road

HALL COUNTY, Ga. - Deputies have arrested a Gainesville man for attempting to run a woman and child off the road in a vehicular assault.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office said they arrested 47-year-old Steven Dean Miller on Monday after an investigation.

According to officials, Miller attempted to run the adult and juvenile female off the road while they were traveling on White Sulphur Road.

Neither the adult or young girl were injured in the assault, police said.

Deputies arrested Miller at a home on the 3100 block of White Sulpur Road on the same day.

He's been charged with aggravated assault and first-degree cruelty to children.

Miller is currently booked in at the Hall County Jail with no bond set at this time.
