Police investigating fatal shooting in Lawrenceville

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Lawrenceville police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Friday afternoon.

Lt. J.O. Parker with Lawrenceville Police said that the shooting happened outside a home on Shoal Court before 1 p.m.

The victim was transported to the hospital where he passed away, according to Lt. Parker.

Lawrenceville Police detectives are continuing to work the scene to gather more information and evidence.

The name and age of the victim have not been released.
