Police investigate deadly shooting in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police in Gainesville are investigating the shooting death of a man Saturday.

It happened around 5 p.m. at a home along Desota Street in southeast Gainesville. Gainesville Police said they responded to the home after getting a 911 call. Officer found a man dead at the home.

No word on a possible shooter.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.
