Police: Gunman arrested in Clayton County murder

Clayton County law enforcement have arrested a suspect who they say shot a man multiple times in the head.

According to the Clayton County Sheriff, deputies and officers were called to Windwood Drive in response to a person shot call.

When they got to the home, they found Dey Tu Amun shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

After an investigation, detectives identified the gunman as Kashad Holmes.

According to police, the shooting happened after a dispute over a woman who has a child with Holmes. Police said Holmes shot Amun, and then said he was going to kill himself before fleeing.

A few hour later at 3 a.m. on Monday, Holmes turned himself in at the Cobb County Jail. He's now in custody at the Clayton County Jail.
