Police: Fugitive, 2 other arrested in DeKalb County
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - US Marshals arrest a Mississippi fugitive and two others in a DeKalb County apartment complex.
Inspectors found 19-year-old D'Jarvis Hundley tucked away in Eagles Run Apartments around noon on Thursday.
Police in Hattiesburg, Mississippi told FOX 5 News Hundley was wanted for allegedly pulling the trigger in a September shooting there. They said he is also wanted for questioning regarding a triple shooting.
Authorities said at least two of Hundley's relatives have been arrested in the past for harboring a fugitive.
Police said Hundley, who is known to be a part of a criminal street gang, fled to Georgia.
"We got a tip 36 hours ago that he was in the metro Atlanta-DeKalb area," Inspector Eric Heinze said.
The U.S. Marshal's Southeast Regional Task Force tracked Hundley down here in the Eagles Run Apartments in DeKalb County.
They said the 19-year-old was with two other men. All three were taken into custody.
"You can run, but you cannot hide. The Marshal's will find you," Inspector Heinze concluded.
Marshals were not ready to release the names of the other two suspects but said they will be charged.
