Police: Fake cop targets teens for assault
ATLANTA - Police are trying to find a man who is accused of assaulting a 17-year-old girl at her Mableton home about two weeks ago.
Police said the teen was approached as she arrived home from school on Mableton Parkway. The victim said the suspect claimed he was a police officer with an arrest warrant and needed to search her house.

After the girl let the man inside, he assaulted her and then left, according to police.
"He began to comment on her physical appearance, he pulled her into a hug, and said sexually inappropriate things to her. At that point, the juvenile questioned him further about the warrant and he left the residence," Crime Stoppers posted on Facebook.
The suspect is described as a black male. He was driving a gold four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan. Investigators said the rear windows of the car were tinted, but the driver's window was not.
