Police: Driver fled I-95 crash that killed pedestrian

Police in coastal Georgia say they're searching for a driver who fled a crash that killed a pedestrian on Interstate 95.

Savannah police said 60-year-old Darel Dodge was walking in an emergency lane of southbound I-95 when a van struck him at about 2:10 a.m. Friday. Dodge later died from his injuries.

A police news release said the driver of the 2006 Honda Odyssey van fled the scene before police arrived. Savannah police are asking for tips to help them identify and locate the van's driver.
