Police chase armed robbery suspect on I-20

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. - A police chase down Interstate 20 Thursday night ended in a crash on the busy highway during the evening rush hour.

The chase started in Villa Rica after officers said they spotted a vehicle believed to be involved in an armed robbery. Four separate law enforcement agencies were involved in the pursuit. The suspect ended wrecking near Thornton Road.

No one was injured in the incident. Police said they took one person into custody.

No named have been released.
