Metro Atlanta woke up to snow on the ground Wednesday morning as an arctic blast moved through the area. FOX 5 viewers started sending in photos before sunrise Wednesday, sharing scenic images of the snowfall across north Georgia.

Temperatures across the area are not expected to rise above freezing Wednesday, so snow and ice will likely stick around through Thursday.
