Person struck, killed walking along I-20 in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Police are investigating a deadly crash along Interstate 20 overnight. 

DeKalb County Police said someone was walking along the freeway when they were struck and killed by a passing car. 

The accident happened just before midnight in the eastbound lanes of I-20 between Panola Road and Wesley Chapel Road. 

It's not clear whether the driver stopped. Police also haven't said why the victim was walking along the interstate.
