Peach Drop Will Happen This Year

ATLANTA - An annual traditional will be making its return to Atlanta this New Year’s Eve.

Atlanta Police Chief George Turner told FOX 5's Morse Diggs he's been told to prepare for the Peach Drop to go on as usual and in its normal place at Underground Atlanta.

The mayor office said the plan is for the event to go on, but Mayor Reed is still working out the details.

There have been questions about the event after the recent sale of Underground Atlanta.
