The heartbroken parents of a 5-year-old drowned at a Summer Day Camp at Cochran Mill Park over the summer asked the Fulton County District Attorney to file criminal charges.

Kamau Hosch was attending Camp Cricket at Cochran Mill Park in July when he was found unconscious in a small pond.

It turned out the camp was unlicensed and the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning immediately launched an investigation.

That investigation is now complete and the family claims the findings prove the day camp is at fault.

The state's findings are now in the hands of the district attorney's office.

It will ultimately decide whether criminal charges should be filed.
