Officials: Atlanta felon escapes from transitional center
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police with the Georgia Department of Corrections are searching for a felon who did not return to his transitional center.
The Georgia Corrections posted on Twitter Wednesday morning that Billy Ford "failed to return" to the Atlanta Transitional Center from his job in Mableton, Georgia.
Ford lived at the Atlanta Transitional Center on the 300 block of Ponce De Leon Avenue.
Officials described Ford as 5-feet-8-inches tall with a weight of 170 pounds.
If seen, officials say you should call 911 and not approach Ford.
