Officers, K9 units track down 2 teenagers connected to fatal gas station shooting

Two teenagers are in police custody and being questioned Tuesday after a fatal shooting at a gas station in DeKalb County.

The incident happened around 11 a.m. outside a BP gas station at the intersection of Panthersville and River Roads.

Major S.R. Fore told FOX 5 News officers used K9 units to track down the suspects, who will more than likely be charged with murder. He said the teenagers ran away after, witnesses said, they shot inside a car, killing a man in his late twenties. Authorities found the teens in a wooded area near the business.

Fore added the victim set up a meeting with the suspects at the gas station to buy a laptop from them. The group met online. At least three shots were fired, according to detectives.
