Officer vehicles struck by drunk driver

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - Two Sandy Springs police vehicles were struck Saturday night by a drunk driver.

According to the Facebook post on the Sandy Springs Police page, two officers were working an injury accident on I-285 when a driver did not yield and struck the two patrol cars. Luckily, the officers were not in their cars at the time of the incident.

The driver was arrested for DUI.
