Officer-involved shooting investigation in Monroe County

MONROE COUNTY, Ga. - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating a shooting involving a Monroe County police officer.

Officers shot and killed a woman Monday morning on Martha Road near High Falls Road.

She later died.

Investigators have not yet released details about what led to the shooting.

No police officers were hurt in the incident.
