Newton investigators seek tips in fatal shooting
NEWTON COUNTY - The Newton County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a fatal shooting.
Deputies tell FOX 5 that Nigiel Cliffard James, 26, was discovered on the ground of the Silos of Ellington neighborhood suffering from a gunshot wound.
James was taken to Grady hospital and later died from his injuries.
The Criminal Investigation Division is currently interviewing witnesses.
