Two people have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping of 26-year-old Joshua Buchanan.

Authorities say Felicia Fox was arrested Monday after a foot chase in Polk County. Travis Bowman was arrested a short while later after a police chase in Bartow County.

Both are charged with the first-degree kidnapping of Buchanan, whose body was found in a shallow grave in Mitchell County, North Carolina on Friday. Buchanan had reportedly been missing since September.

Authorities in Georgia were told to be on the lookout for the suspects since Buchanan has family here.

Joshua Buchanan's sister, Breanna Toney, says her brother and the two suspects were friends. She said all she can do now is focus on the good memories she has of her brother.

"Think about it if it was your brother or your family member. Not only did he suffer, but we are suffering because of his loss. From the bottom of my heart to just help us get answers and justice for him," Toney said.

Officials said a Bartow County deputy was injured during the police chase, but is fine.

North Carolina authorities arrived in Georgia and will interview Bowman, who is being held at the Bartow County Jail.

Fox remains in custody at the Polk County Jail.
