Missing Yorkie returned to Rockdale County family

A happy reunion for one well-known Conyers family. Their beloved female Yorkie named ChaCha has been returned home.

The Yorkie disappeared ten days ago from the family’s Rockdale County home. Kelli Ferrell’s daughter had taken ChaCha outside around noon for a potty break then went back in the home.

After posting missing Cha Cha fliers all over her neighborhood and on social media Kelli Ferrell started checking Craigslist Tuesday.

“I just scrolled and scrolled and scrolled and I finally got to a picture and I said this is ChaCha.

Both pictures she has a silver charm that basically shows her name and her telephone number,” said Ferrell as she compared her picture to the ad picture of ChaCha.

She said ChaCha is also wearing the same pink glitter collar in both pictures.

FOX 5’s George Franco called the number on the ad but no answer or call back. The ad claims the dog was a gift after a fire forced its owners to surrender it. Asking price was $600.

The family was offering a $1,000 reward. The details about how ChaCha got home or if anyone has claimed that reward was not immediately available. ChaCha is chipped, so they were able to confirm it really was her.

The family owns Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles in Conyers.
