HOLIDAY (FOX 13) - An 11-year-old from Holiday, missing after leaving his home Wednesday afternoon, has turned up at a friend's house after deputies spent the night searching for him.
Pasco County detectives said Wednesday evening that the boy was seen leaving his home on Villa Rosa Drive at 3:55 p.m. They said he asked his mother for a dollar to go to a store, but never returned home.
The sheriff's office issued an alert asking the public to be on the lookout for him, but just after 8 a.m. Thursday, deputies said he'd been found safe at a friend's house.
