Medical Marijuana Bill to be tacked on another bill
ATLANTA - The Medical Marijuana Bill may be back from the dead.
A House committee voted Tuesday to attach it to another bill after a Senate committee refused to hear it.
The bill would add more conditions to the list that qualify for the state's Medical Cannabis Oil Registry, including autism and post-traumatic stress disorder.
The bill's sponsor, Representative Allen Peake, of Macon, said the house could vote to approve it as soon as Wednesday.
