Mattie's Call issued for Sandy Springs man

Sandy Springs police need your help to find a 65-year-old man who was last seen Tuesday night.

Police say Alfred Deboest left the Golden Living Center on Meridian Mark Drive in Sandy Springs around 7 p.m. Tuesday and took a taxi to the Medical Center MARTA Station. He rode a train south to the Arts Center Station, left the station and walked towards Peachtree Street, according to police.

Police say Deboest is 5’11’’, weighs 220 pounds, has brown eyes, short black and gray hair and has a goatee. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt with green stripes, blue pants with a red stripe and athletic shoes.

Police say Deboest suffers from schizophrenia, mild dementia and is aid by the use of a manual/standard wheelchair.
