Mattie's Call Issued for Missing Cobb County Man

UPDATE: Police have found him safe.

 

A Mattie’s Call has been issued for a missing Cobb County man.

The Cobb County Police Department is searching for 70-year-old Wallis G. Taylor who was last seen leaving the Waffle House located at 621 Johnson Ferry Road on Tuesday around 12:30 p.m. His wife told police he is suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Police describe Taylor as being 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing about 200 pounds with hazel eyes and grey hair, but balding. He was last seen wearing a Titleist hat, maroon golf shirt, khaki pants, and light brown shoes. He was seen driving a silver 2010 Lexus RX350 with Georgia tag CBJ4534.
