Massive tree narrowly misses DeKalb County home

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Sunday's storms causing a massive tree to fall in DeKalb County.

The tree narrowly missing the house along Beech Haven Road near Sheridan Road.

It crashed down upon the resident’s vehicle.

The front windshield was smashed in and the house itself was only inches away from impact.

The tree actually fell Monday morning after the storms had moved out. But with the saturated ground and the gusty winds, the tree toppled over easily.

The fall started neighbors.

Residents started cleaning up the mess Monday afternoon.

No one was injured.
