HART COUNTY, Ga. - The estranged wife of Atlanta radio host Big Tigger was arrested Monday along Interstate 85 in northeast Georgia during a traffic stop on kidnapping charges out of Maryland.
What we know:
Alicia Denise Brown, 37, of Atlanta, was taken into custody during a traffic stop. According to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received an alert about the car traveling north on the interstate. Deputies pulled over the vehicle near Exit 177 along with Georgia State Patrol troopers.
The woman and two young children were taken into custody. No one was injured.
TMZ reports one of the two young children is shared by Brown and Big Tigger.
The backstory:
Brown is wanted on outstanding kidnapping-related warrants out of Maryland and by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office on felony charges of interference with child custody.
The Baltimore County Police Department wanted Brown on charges stemming from the disappearance of a 10-year-old child who was reported missing in 2019. Maryland officials say they would extradite her back to face charges.
Darian Morgan, widely known as "Big Tigger," was booked into the Fulton County Jail on child cruelty and battery charges on June 20, Fulton County Jail records show. According to court documents, Morgan reportedly pushed his wife into an office door during an altercation.

The former host of BET's "Rap City" faces charges of battery, aggravated battery and third-degree cruelty to children. The arrest comes after an alleged incident back in May involving Morgan's wife which prompted authorities to open a domestic dispute investigation.
The misdemeanor child cruelty charge stems from the couple's 13-year-old son being upstairs during the dispute and hearing the physical altercation take place.
Sandy Springs police officers arrested Morgan after an investigation was launched on June 9.
Brown was granted a temporary protective order stemming from the incident.
The recent legal trouble has caused Big Tigger to step away from the microphone and one of his former co-workers also filed suit against Brown.
What they're saying:
"We are thankful for the quick response and teamwork of our deputies, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, the Georgia State Patrol, and all assisting agencies. Their coordinated efforts resulted in the safe recovery of both children and the successful apprehension of the suspect," Sheriff Chris Carroll said.
What we don't know:
It remains unknown how the vehicle was initially spotted or what specific vehicle description triggered the law enforcement alert. The full details of the charges are also not currently available.
