MARIETTA, Ga. - For some people "National Doughnut Day" is not just about enjoying the sweet treats.
Marietta police officers spent Friday morning at Dunkin' Donuts, raising money for the Special Olympics.
The event was called "Cops on a Donut Shop." Officers took up positions outside five shops in Marietta to collect donations.
The officers were also selling t-shirts and hats with the proceeds going toward Special Olympics.
