Man who shot up Uber driver's car arrested
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Fulton County police have arrested a man who, they say, shot up an Uber driver’s car overnight.
Authorities have charged 31-year-old Starrett Boynton with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of firearm during the commission of crime.
Investigators say the Uber driver picked up a female passenger and dropped her off at a home in the 6800 block of Kimberly Mill Road Tuesday night.
The driver reportedly told police he heard arguing inside the home and then the woman came running out of the house, yelling at him to drive.
The driver said the gunman then came out of the house and opened fire.
The Uber driver's car was damaged, but he wasn’t injured.
Boynton remains in custody at the Fulton County Jail. He is expected to appear in court at 11 a.m. Thursday.
