Man wanted for rape of mentally challenged woman
ATLANTA - A man accused in a horrible case of sexual assault is on the loose and might be in the state of Georgia.
The U.S. Marshals are looking for Michael Hawkins, who goes by the nickname “Zombie Mike”.
Hawkins is accused of sexually assaulting a mentally challenged woman in her New York apartment while her family slept only feet away. He is also accused of sexually assaulting the wife of a family friend.
Authorities describe Hawkins as being 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a distinct inch and a half scar on his face, a burn mark scar on his right arm, and a chest tattoo of the Grim Reaper.
There's a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
