Man stabbed three times; found in car near nightclub

ATLANTA - A man is recovering Friday morning after being stabbed three times in the back.  

The victim was found in the driver's seat of a car parked at the corner of Auburn Avenue and Ball Street in downtown Atlanta. That location is right in front of the Soul Bar at Pal Lounge.  

There's no information connecting the nightclub to the stabbing.

The victim was rushed to nearby Grady Memorial Hospital, which is a few blocks away.  His condition isn't known, but police said he was alert, conscious and breathing.  

Investigators describe the victim's injuries as non-life threatening. They also said the victim isn't cooperating with the investigation.  

There's no known motive for the crime, nor have any suspects been identified.
