Massner went missing in March of 2014. A tip led authorities to the home along Farmbrook Trail in August 2017. Massner's remains were found buried under the back deck.

Judge Schuster sentenced Clements to 15 years, with eight of those to serve in prison. He also was given a $1,000 fine.
