Man killed, deputies hospitalized after car crash

BUCHANAN, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A man is dead and two Haralson County deputies are hospitalized after a car crash in Buchanan.

Investigators say the deputies were on their way to an emergency call around 4:30 Monday afternoon. 

That's when officials say their patrol car collided with another car at the intersection of Highway 27 and Georgia Highway 120.

The man in the other car was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Officials have not released his name.

The deputies were rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the crash.
