Man found guilty in fiance's shooting death

The man accused of accused of killing his fiancé, then calling her murder a suicide last year was found guilty Monday of felony murder and assault charges.

Jurors in the trial of 30-year-old Antoine Hood, found him guilty of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony in the February 2015 shooting death of Candace McGriff.

Officials say Hood called 911 to report that his girlfriend had shot herself to death. Forensic investigators, however, determined that it would have been impossible for McGriff to have killed herself based upon the evidence.
