Police block of parking lot

RIVERDALE, Ga. - Police have made an arrest in the shooting death of a Riverdale man.

Police say 33-year-old Deontae Greene was charged with murder and felony murder in connection to the death of Edward Hicks.

It happened during the early morning hours of Nov. 2 in the Stonegate Townhouse complex located in the 200 block of Roy Huie Road. Police say Hicks, also 33, was rushed to the hospital after being found shot. He later died.

Investigators say witnesses saw two men arguing before the shooting.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was asked to assist with the crime scene.
