Man arrested after gunfire near Georgia 400

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Alpharetta Police are investigating gunfire that happened outside a restaurant and led to a confrontation near a busy highway.

Investigators said a man attempted to shoot a woman after a dispute in the parking lot of the California Pizza Kitchen restaurant at North Point Mall. Detectives said the woman was angry and followed the man from the restaurant. The woman later called police who pulled them over at Mansell Road and Georgia 400.

Police said the man was arrested, but the woman was not cooperating. No one was injured.

Police shut down the entrance ramp to Ga 400 North from Mansell Road while they conducted their investigation. That entrance ramp was reopened just before 10 p.m.
