GAINESVILLE, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police in Gainesville said they arrested man after a possible bomb threat call.
Gainesville Police and Hall County Sheriff's Office were called out to the 1100 block of Dawsonville Highway on Wednesday following the call. Police said witnesses at the scene led them to a man on the roof of the shopping center.
Police said the man, later identified as Christopher Kyle Moore, had two backpacks near him. The 34-year-old man was taken into custody.
Police said the specialized explosives unit of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation were called in to help determine if there were any dangers in the backpacks. Investigators later gave the all-clear.
Moore was charged with one count each of terroristic threats and criminal trespass.
