Macon man struck by train early Tuesday, critically injured

MACON, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say a Macon man has been struck by a train as he walked on railroad tracks in Bibb County.

Bibb County sheriff's officials say the collision happened shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Sheriff's officials said in a statement that 51-year-old Kenneth James Cloud was struck as he walked the tracks near the Jeffersonville Road overpass near McCall Road.

The Telegraph of Macon reports (http://bit.ly/2c0PLYi) that Cloud was in critical condition early Tuesday at a Macon hospital.
